5-year-old Master Devansh Rakesh Waghela is currently admitted in the ICU at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Mumbai, fighting a severe lung infection and septicemia. His condition is critical, and doctors have advised urgent Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS), along with expensive ICU care, antibiotics, and continuous treatment.

Devansh comes from a very poor family from Palghar. His parents work as vegetable vendors and earn barely enough to survive. They have already exhausted their savings and even taken loans to continue his treatment. Despite all their efforts, they are unable to manage the rising medical expenses alone.

The estimated cost of treatment is between ₹5 to ₹8 lakhs. So far, the family has only been able to arrange a small amount as a hospital deposit. Every day in the ICU increases the burden on them.
