Baby of Kavita Kolekar was born extremely premature and weighs only 660 grams. She is currently admitted at NICE Advanced Neonatal Care Centre & Children’s Clinic, Kolhapur, under the care of Dr. Vijay Mali.

She has been diagnosed with Extreme Prematurity (EPT), Extremely Low Birth Weight (ELBW), and Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS). She has already required surfactant treatment, and her doctors have advised continued intensive neonatal care for the next 6–7 weeks.

For a baby this tiny, every day is a fight for survival.

Her family is struggling to arrange the estimated treatment cost of ₹6,50,000, which includes hospitalization, medicines, supportive care, investigations, treatment and other medical expenses.
